Introduction
The 2S Go/No-Go Bridge Gauge is a precision tool designed to verify the thickness of main bridges. It is made from 4140 multipurpose alloy steel and features two precisely machined gaps. The main bridges are tested by passing them through these gaps to ensure they meet the required specifications.
For the 4mm gauge, the gaps are as follows:
- Go: 3.435mm
- No-Go: 3.384mm
For the 1.8mm gauge, the gaps are:
- Go: 1.235mm
- No-Go: 1.184mm
How It Works
- The main bridge should completely pass through the
Go
gap if it is within the specified thickness range. - The bridge should NOT pass through the
No-Go
gap if it meets the required specifications. - A shelf in front of each gap helps properly align the bridge for testing.
